Connection through Road is available from every part of the State to Kollur. It is in the District of Udupi, which is one of the coastal Districts of Karnataka. If you are travelling from Maharashtra or Goa, via Karvar through the NH 66, you get Byndoor and from there in a distance of 1 KM you can reach Yedthere. From Yedthere, you need to turn to left and proceed about 24 KMs to reach Kollur. If you are travelling from Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu or Kerala, through the NH 66, via Udupi you can reach Kundapura and from there at a distance of 7 KMs you get a place called Hemmadi. From there take a right turn and travel about 35 KM to reach Kollur. If you are coming to Shree Kshethra Kollur from Hubballi, Belgaum or Bellary, after reaching Shimoga, you can proceed in the State Highway for about 110 Kms to reach the Shree Keshetra. If you are coming from Chikkamagalur, you can reach Shringeri and from there Shree Kshetra is in a distance of 120 Kms. Lot of Private and Government Bus facility is available from Mangalore. Udupi, Kundapura, Byndoor, Shimoga, and Shringeri. Super Deluxe Bus facility is available from Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad and Kerala etc.
